Enlightenment come true?
Unknowingly led by emotion,
pulled on by pointless misery,
held fast by a past
that my mind complains to find out.
You alone are telling me
that needs to commence,
how to break down this
confusing fence,
telling me to not hold back,
to get on track.
Yet I am afraid!
Weighed down by countless fears,
developed over so many years.
But through this darkness I must
find a light,
I must get through this ever listing
night,
find the path past wrongness into right.
My emotions threaten to crush
down upon me,
to cloud all reason in my misted mind...
Dear god! Help me!
Help me through this fog,
I am frightened to change,
to find my way through
this pathless maze.
I now call upon all my strength,
upon all my goodness and purity
in my empty soul.
May I ride through this battle,
this battle unknown,
and come out with answers,
answers to the unknown of
which I must fight...
Let my will survive through
this pitiless night,
to come out all right,
so that I may continue to the one
I hold most dear.
Please,
let this battle be won,
let my spells and my confusing maze of misery
be done and fay away.
I wish nothing more then to feel the light
and to not be afraid as darkness looks my way.
Do not let me be as lost as they.
