I'm the girl you said I'd never be
The one who you shot down time after time
The one who you made walk the line
You told me i was reaching too far
You told me i was below par
And where are you now, in an institute,
a meaningless life as a prostitute?
And where am I? No where but in University
The place you said was too clever for me.
"Get a supermarket job, thats your life
You'll make a poor man, a very poor wife!"
So thanks for your advice and I'm sure it'll do,
for all the negative dickheads just like you.
But i made it and I'm making it again
Unlike you, I dont live life with my own bitter pain
Of false hopes and false dreams that i never completed
You were just a bad phase in my life, that I have now deleted. |
