» Poem: The fate of Jingoism
The fate of Jingoism
written by sarah10087

A nation, butchered by its next door neighbour
A nation doing the environment a favour.
A nation with a lot more to give than gold,
rainbows, leprechauns, or any other
manifestations of the nations culture.

But beware, there's a lot more that meets the eye.
A man of his nation drunk is filled with spite
For example the fatehr who kicked his daughter from a height
A man who was torn apart by drink
A man who is now to inebriated to think
A man destroyed by his nations culture
I am heading for this same fate
I want to break from this strain of bacteria.
