» Poem: let me tear myself
let me tear myself
written by trulybroken57

you have no right
to take the pages of my life
and let them break,
take away the
hurtful things you've done,
throw them into a corner
and let me rest in peace,
let me trust in you.........
never again..........
nothing is safe,
you've taken the lock off my life,
let my tears fall on you,
you can't help me now.......
drink up my sorrow,
drown yourself in forgetfulness
all of you........
shout at me,
cry for me,
you'll never reach me now,
i'm too far gone,
just let me tear myself,
let me erase my own words,
i will never live to regret the day........
your trust is broken,
shattered like broken glass,
never again......
i'm a fool,
i believed in what i thought you were,
but now i know
that all we cause is pain.......
i'll never trust again.......
