staring into the darkness,
i fear i've silently lost my way
as tears are
slicing through me, tearing me apart,
the blood is dripping on the floor,
i cannot forget.......
please forgive me........
i'm slowly wasting away,
fading into this greying sky,
pain is washing over me,
daring me to give in
to the sweet promise of death,
resistance is hard........
yet still i am here,
left broken and torn,
lying at the foot of life,
fighting for a reason,
you are my reason.......
falling hard, waiting for emptiness
to come bring gentle relief,
saving me from myself once more.
i look back upon this shattered life,
gazing into a mirror,
denying what i fear,
what i fear will soon be the end...
reach into me
and find these fragments of soul
embedded deep in my wounds.....
heal me,
make me whole again......
soothe me with sweet promises,
