» Poem: Too Far Gone
Too Far Gone
written by Morbid Angel
05:52 PM 3/22/05
If I could I would explain.
Exactly why I went away.
And left you to lick your wounds,
With no one left but all those eyes.

Those people stare,
Without the need to care.
They may point but you won't cry,
Just hide from them and shoot them down.

They'll fall for you,
And love you too.
But theres too much pain,
For you to forgive just like I did.

Do you understand now?
Why I'm not there now?
You are those people,
And you pushed me too far.
And now I'm too far gone.
