Rising Hellfire

Blind and scarred.
In time we all learn.
Down we go, hell fire up and rising.
Listen to my words as I sing from this cross.
I want you to know my bleeding wounds on this palm.
Damned to suffer.
Sentenced to live eternally.
This soul travels so fast.
In from one body into the next.
I can still remember my lives of the past.
You wouldn’t believe where I was and what I’ve seen.
Down we go, hellfire up and rising.
Still on this cross singing.
Hear my words, lick my wounds.
Find Hell on this Earth.
Didn’t know me until now.
I’m the demon in your eye.
I’m the vagabond you never give a second glance as he walks by.
I’m the lone swordsmen in nightmares killing time.
I’m the wandering warrior in search of peace of mind.
Trust me when I say I’m lusting after you.
Nailed to these boards.
Singing hymn's of eternity.
Rising Hell fire in my eyes.
Heaven’s light in my soul it shines.
Death is my messiah.
You’ll never understand why.
Carry me on this cross which I’m nailed too.
Scorched by the blinding sun.
Cursing under my breath the false doctrine son.
You want to take me down.
But your not the one who bares the crown.
You want to take me out.
But your not the one who is devout.
Truth you sought.
Now its been brought.
Here I rest nailed upon this cross singing.
Watching the Hell fire’s rising. |
