American Soliders
written by Tainted_Soul_77701:05 AM 3/23/05I stand at attention
I hear "hand salute"
Im feel a sence of pride and respect
In my ironed camis and shinned boots
I look at my flag
The one that men and women died for
And I think of all the soliders
Whom every night someone cries for.
I hope they know were praying
For them to come home
I hope they know
That they really arnt alone
They risk their family, the ones they dont know if theyll ever again see.
Just so that all of us can still say that we're free. |
