Imagery
written by GeishaGirl07:51 AM 3/24/05Imagine a sweet little girl at the age of purity
A smile that can warm the coldest of hearts
The greenest eyes that seem to be always sulky
Silken red hair with bouncy spiral-like curls
Cheeks that have been kissed by angels
Imagine a cottage growing near demolishment
Surrounded by white and red untamed roses
Thorny creepers swallow up the windows
A swing attached to a swaying willow tree
And a dusty road leading out to fallen fences
Imagine a day where the heavens weep
The little girl swinging, touching the skies
Swiftly lifted and taken, not by the gods
Kicking and screaming shouting and yelling
But nobody hears or responds to her cries
Imagine a mutilated body with a tattered tartan dress
Dumped amongst rubbish for the rats to dispose of
Awakened by the city’s outlandish sounds
Crawling out into the open unaware of the stairs
Watching the people go bye with out a blink of an eye
This imagery is too obscene to go through anymore
My fingers are too shaken to write furthermore
But the questions will still always linger in my head
Why does this dirty evil even have to breathe?
Why did it even breathe on someone so pure? |
