Your Picture

Trying to forget
Trying to be happy
But that hasnt happened yet
I read all these poems
And letters from you
Now Im all alone
And I try and forget all the things we've been through
It would just make me want you more
Close another window
Open another door
Run to catch you
But youre simply too fast
I try and forget all the mistake
Ive made in my past
I try and remember the sound of your voice
I wish I could just hear it right now
But I dont have a choice
These tears fall down
Making me weak
Once again, what a suprize
After all this you would think-
I would just get over the pain
I still see you here and there but its just not the same
I see all of this in your picture
Your hipmotizing eyes
Their the reason for everything I do
And why I even try.
Reminds me of that time that we went to the mall
And when I was at bootcamp I wrote our inicals on the wall
When we were at homecoming-that was the day of our first kiss
And now weve come to lonliness.
Absence makes the heart grow fownder as they say
But why do we have to be absent every day?
I thought it was bad before
But now Im just missing you more
I wish I could take only a second to kiss you
Youll never know how bad I need you
And how much I miss you |
