Stroking the dead butterfly.
Its wings, so soft, smooth.. flutter less.
Succumbed to death, now, beautifully lifeless.
I pet the surface of the glass jar.
In which, the butterfly's soul resides.
Forever, mine.

Feed the fluttery soul to the shadow bat.
The ghost moon can shine down upon the eyes of the vicious cat.
Watching the happenings, as it tears at the viscera of a rat.
I shall, seek out the soul of my lost leisure.
