» Poem: Mandatory Normandy
Mandatory Normandy
written by Genocide Reaper
04:12 AM 3/28/05
Take a walk with ghost, on the beach that is besieged.
Treaded metal, was the confidence, that was bombarded.
Rusting in the salty crimson waters.
Blood spilled in the sand.
Soldiers dead all over this cursed land.
Running in force, fearless frenzy, no where to hide.
Just an opening to die.
Bullets rained.
Moments of murder, mutilation, death in this battle reigned.
Heavy casualties, and a thundering tide.
Sweeping away all hopes for most to survive.
Close in combat with the enemy.
Shooting back, as your friends die in agony.
Orders of suicide given, its completely.
Mandatory.
With hours of battling, the field was taken.
A red sea, and rotting bodies left to be.
Mentally, it shall forever last.
In history, and in plenty of soldiers past.
This was, mandatory Normandy.
