Love is My Enemy!
written by Open_Until_4Am02:44 AM 3/29/05I close my eyes putting it all away so no one knows what‘s wrong with me.
I take my time I don’t want another beginning to this ending.
It seems the right person always passes me by.
Does everyone want to promise me a lie and break my heart like it was made that way.
This shouldn’t hurt as much as it does, yet your all I keep thinking of.
Rain is like a sad story, pouring it’s soul into our lives.
The thunder and lightning show us all the terrible hard times, but it still survived.
Love is my enemy and it keeps kicking me in the ass.
Giving my heart away is like asking to get played.
So I’ll cut until all the bad goes away forever!
But that still leaves me here lonely and unhappy.
I can’t help that love just ain’t for me.
I don’t understand just why it had to end, for us?
So wrong to think that we could be together forever.
Why couldn’t you and me make it through a month or two?
Loves not long, yet it leaves such an impacted on us all!
Well here’s my choice do I want to make it out alive.
And if I do then this is what I know to make it by.
Don’t blame me for bring us all down sorry these are just the facts you see.
