Why does it always have to be this way?

tears wet and dripping.
I hope they will simplify,
how my life is slipping.
Bruised and tortured emotionally,
loving you every bit.
Hating you uncontrolably,
Im your friend and that is it.
Express my feelings again,
hoping they'll dimenish.
I hope you know I'll go to the end,
or atleast untill im finished.
Finished being rejected,
every way I can.
Done being affected,
because you dont understand.
I want you, but you want her,
so I'll move out of your way.
It's just so hard trying to figure...
