walking away [please read]

sitting alone in the dark,
will you come find me?
will you stay with me
as pain is overcoming me?
when you are walking away,
sitting alone in the dark,
do you want me to find you?
do you want me to stay with you
as loneliness consumes you?
tears are breaking all the barriers,
shattering like glass around me,
lost, i walk away,
too worried to notice
the bloody shards ripping into me,
frightening thoughts take hold inside,
where are you?
looking at you,
the hurt in your eyes
just makes me want to die......
to leave and walk away
is all that i can do
to stop the tears from falling.
as i turn and leave,
will you follow?
will you hold me?
will you let me inside,
let me take away your pain............ |
