Lonely Heart(plz comment)

I've been living in empty shadows
hiding from the sun
Afraid it will burn my flesh and empty life from me
It is the ground I fall upon
it is the lonliness that drains me and rips at my still-heart
My soul trembles in dismay of being torn apart
My life is an open wound
Spit on and exposed to hatred and disease
and blood flows through my open cuts with such an ease
that swells my eyes with tears
that runs down my cheeks like the fires of hell
that adorn me and show me just how alone I can be
Theres no love for me to clasp
except that of my own bleeding heart
neglected with sorrow and anguish
Right from the start confined to a place
mournful to my eye and evil to my mind
slaughtered with a practiced blade across my neck
and tortured in the obscurity of the sinister of darkness |
