mirrored soul [faceless]

pretending to know my name,
who are you?
let me see your face,
the face of one who destroys me
with every move i make,
the eyes that bruise my soul
every time i see myself..........
staring into my mirrored soul,
i can only wonder,
can you see yourself?
see the ashes burning everything.....
leaving nothing behind........
moving forward,
walking slowly, turning back often,
i am scared.......
fearing the darkened shadows of night,
watching with faceless terror
as i fade away,
melting into the bloody masses,
lying shattered at your feet,
don't let me spill a drop,
a drop of crimson pain
on the purity of your life,
just drop the knife,
come on, just drop the knife,
let it fall on me,
stabbing a waste of life...........
gazing at the mirror,
i cannot see my face,
only streams of hurtful tears
drowning the world again.......
dropping the knife,
shattering the mirror,
broken shards pierce my soul tonight................ |
