I tryed not to cry

I try not to cry
As our love slowly dies
As you hug me
I know its just cause its routine
And when you say I love you
Im not sure what you really mean
As you say goodbye
And give me that last look
I wipe the tears from my eyes
And say goodbye to everything you took
Im not ready
I will never be
Ill never be ready to see the day
I dont even know
If you feel this way
The flame is dying
The candle is cheap
As I realize this
A tear rolls down my cheek.
Its not over
This is all in my head
I just keep remembering
all the things that youve said.
The time you said youd never break up with me
And youd try never to get mad
The time when I knew you accaully cherished
Every moment we had
I dont care what anyone else thinks
Cause no one might ever feel this way
I just wish that as I cry
Some one would tell me it was okay.
So as I think about you
Ill try not to cry
And when I think you you leaving
Ill try not to die. |
