Wishing on a star

thoughts of you cross my head.
See your face and here your laugh,
I miss all we used to have.
A tear forms as I grasp what's not real,
it falls not helping the pain heal.
I look at the sky and wish on a star,
to be with you where ever you are.
I close my eyes holding more tears in.
knowing my wish will NEVER happen. |
