» Poem: The Art Of Deception
The Art Of Deception
written by Morbid Angel
02:44 PM 3/31/05
I make a cut,
Not very deep,
But almost half an inch thick.
The colour stains,
Wash you off tonight,
Before I close my eyes.
Pulling out my hair,
To make a perfect shape,
Telling myself that I'm not insane.
Painting my skin,
I think I'll chose red,
To draw attention to my pretty head.
That liquid is shiny,
And I like the taste,
Covering my lips like a glaze.
You won't take your eyes off me tonight,
With a flower in my hair and my skirt up high,
Turn around to take another look at perfect,
I am a master in the art of deception.

Figure it out yourself.

It's not emo.

It's just cryptic.

Someone comment me for once, I never beg.
