Man Made

It seems like everything's worth fighting for to me.
Is there something I should do or say,
to make sure you won't go away?
Because im not putting my life on hold,
it goes against what I've been told.
I love you dearly,
and I might not show it clearly.
But that's not my fault that you don't see,
how much you mean to me.
I'll sit back and wait untill you're done,
being mad or upset at everyone.
You always freak out and tell me how horrible I am,
well im sorry I don't meet your demands!
You need to accept that no one is perfect,
and people can't drop everything when it's not worth it.
Don't take this the wrong way,
it's just something I had to say.
If you love me as much as you say you do,
then you'll know I can't base everything around you.
Im trying to be here for you when I can,
but please understand,
I'm only made by man. |
