» Poem: My Reincarnation
My Reincarnation
written by sarah10087

Who was to know that this acquaintance
Would be allowed to eat the fruit of my bowl,
Would gradually earn my acceptance,
Would be allowed to change my soul.
The time allowance makes difference not,
It grew to love too quick to measure;
Despite my doubt and my love life without;
He became my love, my life, and my leisure.

I'm not the soppy kind,
to fall in sand so quick,
But like glue to the mind,
He always seems to stick.

And where ever my heart may wonder;
of another man, my heart will never be fonder.
That first love, that first sensation,
My first love, my reincarnation.
