» Poem: And There It Is
And There It Is

And there it is, that box of my memory
Filled with the most precious of royalty,
the king of my heart who was blown apart,
by the building pressure of his colon.
I thought it was my fault he couldnt get a hard on!!
But no, a lack of nutrition and fibre,
A lack of fruit, oats and saliva.
And there it is, the fatal outcome infront of my eyes,
a rotting corpse, now surrounded in flies.
I take him out of the box sometimes, alone,
Taking great care, as the undertaker had shown.
I always thought coffins were justa big con,
despite death he still cant get a fucking hard on.
He annoys me now, as he slumps and stares,
Theres no love as he sprawls accross my chairs.
SO i grab his legs and swing him down the stairs.
His 6ft2 body flies like an owl of the night,
Before he hits the floor like a pile of shite.
And there it is.

Where's the structure you so highly speak of?

The structure is there. You just have to work it out. Structure doesnt mean sticking to the same rhyme scheme and line length, its about being planned and done for a reason. Pace and tone are included.
