» Poem: By the Night-Light
By the Night-Light
written by SuperBob
04:05 AM 8/4/04
Awoken by the sound of something from afar
Looking through the door that was mysteriously left ajar
Seeing a figure appear from the wall
Trying to scream out but only being able to fall
Dragged away by this shadow of life
Wondering what will happen, if it will lead to strife
When the hands of this image clasp around your neck
The coldness covers you as you hope to keep your fear in check
Then with one last attempt to defend your dreams
Loneliness turns to sleep as the world finally begins to gleam
