I Lay In The Darkness

A blanket over my head
Wishing either you or I were dead
Why do you hate me?
Why do you want control of my life?
Because of you, I can't put down this blood covered knife
Just when I thought you were proud
And I thought I had your trust
You showed me that I'm just never gonna be good enough
I'm never gonna be the daughter that you want
I'm never gonna be the daughter that you need
So go ahead, continue to hate me
I lay in the darkness
A blanket over my head
Wishing either you or I were dead |
