What did I do?(PLZ READ)

I held it out.
I tried to understand,
all your cries and shouts.
I was their when you were upset,
and helped when I could.
Anything you needed I gave it,
I did what a friend should.
I took your side,
when battles were fought.
I listened to you cry,
when they were lost.
I watched you hurt,
and wanted to help so bad.
You said I'd make things worse,
worse then what you already had.
Then how come when I fell,
I dropped to the ground.
Why did it never matter how I felt?
And you were never around.
I pushed foward,
you shoved me away.
No matter how badly I was ignored,
I stayed.
I still remain,
hated by you till this day.
Tears drop like rain,
and i wonder what I did for things to be this way? |
