Dark Dreams Of You

and if I could sleep,
I would dream of you,
and if you were here,
the night would enfold us both,
and we would dream togather,
as one and forever.
But here you are not,
and this is why there is a knot in my throat,
I'm ready to croak,
but when I think of you,
it doesn't seem that bad,
and I feel almost glad.
There are so many things I could say,
but they have all run away,
as soon as I look at your face.
Words seem to escape me,
when our voices meet,
its tragic when I think,
because all I think of is you,
and I try not to be blue,
when I realize your not here,
and thats why I continue to cheer,
so my thoughts do not wonder to you,
even though its no use,
you stole my heart and mind,
and its truly devine,
as time slips away,
as the night runs over the hills,
and I'm left here to think...
to think of you,
and try not to be blue. |

but it seems he is simply my destiny and thats good enough for me even if I have to wait here.

| Your poem reminds me of some one special I know... I could only hope sh e cares as much about me. As you do about your Love...Sorry, its not much of a Comment about the poem...But it did make me think, and touched a sensative spot.. Good Job. |
