piece by aching piece

each move aches deep inside,
every breath just crushes me more.....
my head is throbbing,
i can't see straight.
walking in a haze,
faltering with every step i take,
just barely aware of the world
as tear mix with blood,
pain dripping around my waist........
so tired...........
sleep has become my stranger
when late at night
my misery resurfaces
and slowly chips away at my sanity,
breaking me down.........
i can't take it anymore!
alone up in my room,
smiles are replaced by aching tears
and i can't pretend anymore,
i'm falling,
breaking away in oblivion,
who will catch me?
catch me in my downward spiral,
the razor.......
the depression........
deep crevices stab into me,
scars on my life forever
as piece by aching piece
fall shattered at my feet
and now nothing is left............ |
