It's perfectly okayy!

I’m not needed anymore.
Just delete me from your life.
It’s perfectly okay, I‘ll be fine.
But I need you to know one thing.
I cared about you even though you didn’t think so.
Apart of me wasn’t ready, yet I still wanted more.
Nothing left for tomorrow is dead to yesterday.
I can’t help it, but I see no one around me.
Can’t feel anything that comes close to me.
Brings the worst of me out and I want to run.
I wonder if you seem to remember.
Every time you said I love you.
Was every time I got to know you.
Yet you’ve gone away to a place I can’t find.
I’ll be okay, even though everyone sees me lying.

I thought that maybe you and I were it!
The something I’ve been waiting for.
One thing I never had, yes you.
But it always seems to be so wrong.
I’m the one who gets hurt, and I hate it more every time. |
