» Poem: silent icy warmth.... |
silent icy warmth....
written by trulybroken5712:49 AM 4/17/05frozen inside, every emotion turned to ice,
each cold, black stare melting souls
and keeping you away.........
all the secrets held inside,
sweet moments lost in time
as we fall and we break,
how much more can we take?
such a shattered life this is,
i'm running out of glue..........
tears frame my face,
but in the rain you'd never know,
you'd never know the pain,
you'd never know the secrets,
no one would ever know...........
crimson death is flowing out of me,
gently dripping to the floor
and no one is here to listen.........
listen to the screams,
icy screams of agony
breaking the numbing silence
behind my fragile smiles.
a distant stare, a detatched soul,
nothing connects me to this place,
i'm drifting off into nowhere,
will someone stop the insanity?
come bring warmth to my aching soul,
burnt to ashes in the dust,
now frozen with icy pain,
slicing open every wound,
slowly stabbing through me............ |
