Gripping the blade tightly in my fist,
I swipe it slightly across my wrist.
Knowing I will later regret this,
I still do it anyways.
While Im cutting deply into my vain,
it takes my mind off all my pain.
The past that still casts a shadow over me,
the haunting memorys that just wont go free.
And this is just my way of running from my mind,
and hiding from my thoughts.
Taking the blade, and slicing my skin up,
feeling the blood rushing out.
Its better than hearing voices in my head,
and wishing I was dead. |
