hate of the cynic

There is a wicked world to see,
Watch it as it alters to nothing,
Feel the love of the naïve,
Feel the hate of the cynic.
Come into the radiant light,
Feel the careless heat of the sun,
Feel it burn your eyes to empty,
Watch it as it singes you to black,
Watch yourself as you wither away. |
