» Poem: A Dozen Roses
A Dozen Roses
written by SuperBob
02:30 AM 8/10/04
Standing by the gate
Under the sky of frost
Looking down at my garden of roses
I felt my heart beat start

What was that in the shadows?
Why is it creeping around?

I took a few steps forward
And saw my devil there
He saw me and flashed me a smle
As my roses went up in flames for a mile

All but tweleve
Which he handed to me
They turned to black
And scattered around like ash

At first I was sad to see my roses glow
But a tinge down my spine changed all of that I know
i felt his claws grasp around my neck
Pricks of blood trickling down my back
I turned to face him, saw a flame in his eyes
We both knew then for his torture and pain I would never die
