» Poem: Waiting In The Shadows
Waiting In The Shadows
written by psycho_bunny

The delicate silence surounds my ears,
I feel the years pushing down on my lungs,
crushing any breath of life I had left.
Your face has stained my eyes,
there is no compramize,
I fell for you hard,
without any arms to catch me,
I lay here where you left me,
but if you were here,
there would be arms to hold me,
then I wouldn't be alone,
like a statue made of stone.

My heart is about to break,
my want for you is crazy,
I crave for your smile,
I wish for your eyes to meet mine,
but all this is hopeless,
your to far away,
I'm damned to this hell,
like a creature thrown away,
but I'll wait here and stay,
because its all worth it for you.

These cold stars will keep me company,
the night will be my only companion,
the shadows will enfold me,
and maybe even hold me,
so that my feet wont drag the ground,
for if I drown my self in this darkness,
my thoughts wont be of you,
and I wont become to unscrewed,
as I wait these years,
long and dreadful,
hideing true in my shadows,
crying...
but without fear,
knowing someday you will be near.
