» Poem: Worth So Much More
Worth So Much More
written by SuperBob

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder;
They say that Atlas held the world on his Shoulders.
But who are they to say how that the sun shone each damned day?

They are the ones who YOU look up to.
They are the ones YOU call your leaders.
They are the ones that tell YOU to jump and you "ask how high?"

But to me they are dastardly in disguise
Can't you see it in their happy eyes?
How they wink and smile and claim to tell you no lies?!?

Someties your faith in them makes me wonder:
"How come they have yet to defeat world hunger?"
Your pledge of allegiance makes me sick
It makes hope you were dead to poke with a stick

But I wouldn't kill you for your opinions
I wouldn't hurt you for the way you live
But when you try to make me believe
All the words that they claim to say
You better watch you back and know one day
I will destroy your changing ways
