Shooting Star
written by SuperBob09:27 AM 8/12/04One by one the stars came tumbling down...if you wanted I would have chased after them...to see your face light up as I placed the glowing ember of a star in your hands...but you weren't there to share this night with me...instead I just stayed out there alone...thinking of how much nicer it would have been with you around...curling up in your arms...looking up at the night sky with you...watching as each one of our issues fell like the stars...we would be set free from those times of horror...those times when we didn't have each other...as each old star danced then faded over the sky...each one of our sorrows would also disperse and die...one day though...I promise you this...I will watch a meteor shower end with a kiss...from my lips to yours....our love will soar |
