a broken girl's arm

was ignored and no one knew how she felt
no one cared to listen to her problems
she felt so dreadfully forgotten
so sick of being alone, so she took a knife
sitting on her bed ready to take her life
but instead she makes marks on her arm
these will forever remain painful scars
no she wears a long-sleeved jacket to hide them
when she takes it off, they're no longer forgotten |
