Fight The Feelings

Too many different theories that don't go with the times
How do the young live for themselves
When everything they had you stuck up on high shelves
It's not that they can reach it all
They have yet to be old and grow that tall
The year when they are to learn how to defend who they are
Is the year that you will no longer be their shining star
Believe it now, and read it true
One day they'll grow and stand up to you
When the days arrise and the table turns
Remember all their hopes that you had burned
They'll never forget what you did to them
And revenge will set in to destroy your men |
