» Poem: Twisted Mind
Twisted Mind
written by Morbid Angel

Please don't push me away, not again,
I can't take the feeling of regret and the pain,
It eats at my heart and sinks into my skin,
I'll slice it away, releasing the blood of sin,
My freedom comes with the death of my fears,
I can't find my freedom, No bright light appears,
To shine them all away,
To lighten my dark and bright up my day,
This isn't a fairy story, I don't have a happy ending like you,
So I'll sit and I'll cry, all alone in my room.
I'll have a razorblade in one hand and blood on my wrists,
Blood pouring out from the long, jagged slits,
A single tear falls from my eye as my head drops to the side,
Then I open my eyes and it was just a fucked up thought,
A fucked up thought in my twisted, lifeless mind

thoughts can be reality... just like if a lie is spoken too much it may become the truth
