» Poem: "Eased Upon a Painful Truth"
"Eased Upon a Painful Truth"

As I look outside the window, I see vivacity moving on.
I see 15 children smiling and a girl that sings her songs.
Can't help but think if it's better on the other side...

As I look outside my barrier, I view the perfect scene.
I would impose myself to love you only if you would just love me.
I can't rid me of tragedy, I covet away this plight...

As I stare away my days, I wish I could be like you.
One who knows no fallacy, always knows what to do.
I've pulled myself in this hole, none other's fault than my own.
Can you help me live, baby? Help me atone.

Out there a timeless moment, while I waste in eternal shame.
Wish I could be indifferent, yet i'm left insane.
I see no hand in sight, to help with the answers I can't find.
Bitterness of the abandoned, left to scratch hatred's rind.

As I look outside my window, I witness life at it's best.
No need to have a fear, no need to be depressed.
As I Look outside my barrier, I can't help but notice you.
And as long as I am here, I can't hurt you nor abuse!
And I'm left to think my days away secluded...
And I'm eased upon this painful truth.
