» Poem: Slip Away
Slip Away
written by Morbid Angel
10:32 PM 9/4/04
I wish you were here tonight with me,
You always seem to slip away so easily,
I always feel so cold and alone,
Standing here on my own

I wish that you would be always with me,
And the confusing thing is I really don't see,
If I love you, why does it hurt so much?
You slip away from my cold touch

I wish that you would kiss and hold me,
Istead of slipping away so easily,
Stop me feeling cold and alone,
Stop me standing on my own
